Voge looks set to expand its model line-up with its largest model yet, the Triumph Tiger 900-rivalling Voge 900 DS Ollie Barstow's picture
The ever popular adventure segment looks primed to receive another new entry in the shape of the all-new Voge 900DS.
Spotted in production ready form in the Far East and published on Motociclismo, the 900 DS is the latest addition to Voge’s growing model line-up that currently comprises the 500AC, 500DS, 500DSX and 650DSX.
While the finer technical details of the 900DS remain scarce, the model retains a similar design to its range counterparts with its chunky - if understated - aesthetic, wire-spoke wheels, beaked front-end and LED headlight, while it also features a dash-mounted camera.
While the branding on the fairing alludes to this being a ‘DS’, with that nomenclature reserved for the more tourer style models in Voge’s range, it is more likely the adventure-styled DSX moniker will be used on this ADV model.
Under the skin, Motociclismo speculates the 900DS could make use of engines found in the BMW F900 or F850 ranges by virtue of a engine building partnership between the German firm and Voge’s parent company Loncin.
The Voge 900 DS is the latest mid-to-large adventure model from China to land recently, following on from the CFMoto 800MT and the Qianjiang-developed Benelli TRK 702.
Beyond its fellow Chinese counterparts, the Voge 900DS will also be looking to poach sales from more expensive class leaders like the Triumph Tiger 900 and KTM 890 Adventure.
