2024,,,Leoncino 500 Trail, the "all-terrain" version of the modern-classic bike of Benelli, presents itself for 2023 with a renewed aesthetic, even more, dynamic and modern, the result of a restyling created to give it a sporty and captivating image, without ever forgetting elegance and balance in its forms. Designed for pure fun in all riding conditions, both on asphalt and on more difficult routes, Leoncino 500 Trail shares with the road version the 500 cc, two-cylinder, liquid-cooled four-stroke engine, now updated to the new regulation, with a power of 47.6 hp (35 kW) at 8500 rpm and torque of 46 Nm (4.6 kgm) at 6000 rpm. The transition to the new version allows to make updates to the transmission, exhaust system and ECU calibration of the engine: the secondary air system has been introduced, which allows to reduce emissions during the starting phase, activating a post-reaction that allows to reach quickly the operating temperature of the catalyst, which is also adapted according to the regulation. Finally, the calibration of the engine ECU has been optimized, for smoother power delivery and the primary transmission ratio has been shortened, to ensure prompt engine response in all gears. The refined and authentic look of this two-wheeler, a mix of classic lines but reinterpreted in a modern key, is today even more emphasized by the new silver graphics on the tank and under the seat, which give it elegance and sportiness. On the tank, where the Benelli logo is set, the stylistic element of the arch is proposed tone-on-tone, as on the Leoncino 500, but on the Trail version, we find two-tank bumpers, for an even more aggressive look. The frame is a steel tube trellis whose end is hidden beneath the tank. The headlight, in the typical arc shape, features LED technology, while the instrumentation is entirely digital. The bike also features the Lion graphic on the front mudguard, like all the other motorcycles in the range becomes black. Leoncino Trail features knobby Metzeler Tourance tyres on its aluminium alloy rims (now in silver colour) measuring 19" in the front and 17" in the back, and respectively fitted with 110/80-R19 and 150/70-R17 tyres. All this means the maximum guarantee of stability and enjoyment in all conditions and on all terrains. The suspensions are adjustable and renewed: the front having an upside-down fork with 50 mm diameter legs and the back a swinging arm with lateral shock and travel of 55 mm. For the braking system, on the front end, we find a 320 mm diameter double disc with two-piston floating callipers. On the back end a 260 mm diameter disc with a single-piston calliper and ABS. *OTR charges plus £200 includes the first registration fee, road fund licence, number plate and PDI *Finance subject to terms and conditions Colours available: Black, Red and Green.
