The 248cc parallel twin engine that powers the GSX250R has undergone thorough analysis and optimisation to maximise low-to mid-range torque and provide a powerful ride that features ease of control. The sporty flair of newly designed 10-spoke wheels pairs with tyres that provide strong grip on the road. Stopping power is provided by petal-type front and rear disc brakes. An Anti-lock Brake System (ABS)¹ made by Bosch is also equipped to deliver greater confidence and control. The relatively low mounting point of the clip-on left and right handlebars is sporty, but at the same time designed to provide a comfortable riding position that is capable around town or on longer rides.
