Hidden away behind the dynamic bodywork the high rigidity frame plays a key role in making the NMAX one of Yamaha’s best performing urban commuters. It features a large 7.1-litre fuel tank located in the centre tunnel to give a balanced weight distribution for excellent manoeuvrability. The chassis and bodywork provide a comfortable riding position with increased wind protection and reduced noise.
NMAX comes with a Traction Control System that gives you a more confident ride on loose or slippery surfaces such as wet cobblestones or tramlines. When the TCS senses that any rear tyre slippage is about to happen it momentarily reduces drive to the rear wheel so that the tyre maintains traction – allowing you to ride confidently in varying weather and road surface conditions.
By riding such an economical scooter, you’re already helping to lessen your carbon footprint and to further reduce urban pollution and minimise fuel consumption, the NMAX is equipped with a Start & Stop system that cuts in when you come to a stop at traffic lights or on congested streets.
