This machine was exclusively used on the World launch for the Continental GT 535 in London, September 2013 and was ridden by none other than the Boss of Royal Enfield, Siddhartha Lal, on the Launch route from the Ace Cafe, to Brooklands and finally onto Brighton for 2 consecutive days. The machine has not been touched since being ridden by Sid, it's in exactly the same condition as it reached Brighton Pier - As New.

The first 56 machines were all supplied in Launch Specification and all were GT Red with a single seat cowl, shorter Sports Silencer & billet alloy bar end mirrors. The All new for 2013 Continental GT (model code NR61) was hailed as the lightest, fastest and most powerful Royal Enfield in production. A machine with a story, a nod to motorcycling's finest hour; a painstaking collaboration.

It is also the best expression yet of a cultural phenomenon that has simply refused to fade away - the Cafe Racer. The standard 500cc Bullet engine was increased to 535cc, had a lighter crankshaft assembly, a larger inlet port and a larger throttle body and revised ECU to give an additional 1.9 Bhp bringing power to to around 29 Bhp. The new Harris designed duplex cradle chassis had sportier geometry than the standard 500 Bullet, has a double down tube frame and a stiffer, box section swing arm.

The front suspension was all new and consisted of a non-adjustable 41mm Gabriel forks and at the rear are a pair of Paioli piggy back shocks that are adjustable for preload and rebound.

A single 4 pot Brembo front caliper and large, 300mm full-floating disc provided a serious upgrade in stopping power as does the 240mm 2 pot rear caliper and disc. To top it off, the Continental GT 535 Cafe Racer has a claimed dry weight of 365 lbs, which is 46-lbs less than the standard C5 Classic.

This vehicle is from a private collection and has been dry stored since 2013 and will require light recommissioning prior to being used. It remains the rarest and most sought after example of Any 535 Continental GT - Anywhere !
